At FREY., we believe that great tailoring doesn’t come at the expense of the planet. From the materials we select to the way we produce, package, and extend the life of each garment, we are committed to building a more sustainable fashion future.
Repurposed materials
We exclusively use natural and semi-natural fabrics in all our collections - prioritising materials that not only look and feel luxurious, but also tread lightly on the environment.
We use deadstock - premium surplus fabrics from renowned Italian mills.
These are high-quality textiles originally produced for luxury houses but left unused. Instead of allowing them to go to waste, we repurpose them into timeless pieces that are designed to last.

By choosing repurposed deadstock fabrics, small-batch production, and a zero-waste approach to tailoring, FREY. significantly reduces its environmental footprint compared to traditional fashion manufacturing.
Thoughtful Details: Natural Finishes
Our commitment to sustainability continues in the smallest of details. Every garment is hand-finished with regenerated buttons made from nut shells and mother-of-pearl - a natural alternative to plastic buttons. These biodegradable trims ensure that each element of our clothing aligns with our values.

Alterations & Circularity
Our garments are made to be adjusted. With generous seam allowances built into each design, every piece can be tailored in-house or by a local seamstress to suit your body as it changes. We believe clothing should evolve with you - not end up in landfill.By offering in-house alterations, we encourage our customers to extend the lifespan of their clothing, rather than replacing it.

We package every FREY. order using recyclable and reusable materials, minimising waste while preserving an elevated unboxing experience.
- Jackets are packed and delivered using Rollor Packaging to ensure they arrive wrinkle-free.
- Our boxes are made from FSC-certified recycled cardboard
- Tissue and tags are printed with non-toxic inks
- Garment bags are reusable and designed for longevity, not landfill

We currently use biodegradable, water-dissolvable bags made from corn starch, but we’re continually testing new materials to ensure long-term storage solutions that protect both your clothes and reduce our impact on the planet.
Low-to-no-waste garment components
From buttons made from nuts and pearl shells to low-impact trims, we continually strive to source more responsible, waste-reducing materials for our garments and trims.
End-of-life solutions
We’re consistently researching circular practices such as garment recycling and are looking into resale pathways to help extend the life of every piece.
